- native repeating functionality - optional?

Hi there,

Is there any chance the new repeating item functionality can be an option?

I use a complex set-up of Outlook -> Outlook Google Calendar Sync -> Google calendar -> IFTTT -> Evernote to create placeholder meeting notes, so I can just start typing when I get into meetings. AT the moment that works really nicely, with repeating meetings creating a new note for every instance of the meeting. I'd imagine that moving to a more typical repeating meeting set-up would result in only one item being created.

I know this is probably an edge-case, but I wonder if anyone else has any workflow based on the current system?

Can you confirm if the recurring Google items do only result in a single Evernote being created? Google recurring items are still events in their own right, as opposed to Outlook which is a single appointment, with exceptions stored inside it.

Let me know...

NB: I'm not keen on returning the ability to sync individual items as it had some inherent problems (related to the different ways Google and Outlook deal with recurring items).
