domain proxy auth

Jun 4, 2015 at 11:17 AM
Hi,

1) the project is a great idea and I would really love to test and use but there is an issue authenticating against the proxy server. The proxy is domain authenticated and all I get is:

The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
Unable to get the list of Google calendars. The following error occurred:

There must be a diff way on how the auth is implemented for an Active Directory.

2) the password field is displayed in plaintext.

Hi,
You should just be able to use the IE settings to use your domain proxy - then as long as you can access the internet with IE, OGCS will also be able to connect.

nope. Not working. Doesnt even bother connecting to the proxy when using IE settings nor asking for username/password.

Unable to get the list of Google calendars. The following error occurred:
Web request to 'https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token' failed.
The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.

I had almost the exact problem. Would not work with the IE proxy, nor the proxy server set manual with the username/password combo. I ended up setting up the intermediate proxy called cntlm, then it worked fine.
