Reviews for this release

Works quite good. But recurring meetings are not properly synced when one or more of the instances has been rescheduled. I'm syncing outlook -> google (one-way) Could this be looked into? Thanks!

Works well for the most part. I have it syncing Outlook -> Google and it does not sync recurring meetings properly when one of the occurrences has been rescheduled. It will continue to show the original time for the one particular instance instead of new, rescheduled time.

Had to uninstall after one hore. For some reason each time a sync was done it doubled every entry on my callender and after a while my callenders showed 20-30 entried of the same event.

Can’t beat the price, but the tool tends to fail here and there.

It was working only for a few days, then the message "The synchronisation failed. Do you want to try again?" starts to pop out and since then it does not work anymore.

Not sure I understand the recurring event note: "This would be by design. The events in v1 weren't real recurring meetings - so when you upgrade the old events will be removed and replaced with a proper recurring event. Reply by phw198 (Coordinator) on Dec 7 at 12:21 PM " I have a recurring event, 4 days a week indefinitely. With update, I get one occurrence on my google calendar. Is it by design that recurring events will no longer appear on the google calendar? Or is google calendar supposed to somehow create the recurring calendar items and I just need to wait for that?

No, this doesn't sound right. If you go into the single occurrence that now remains in Google, does it have a recurrence defined? If not, please could you raise an Issue ticket for further investigation.

Good product but latest release breaks it. Filed it on the issue tracker, no response though. Can't use it all now (but could on previous version I'd had). Hope to try it again on next release.

This has now been fixed under Issue 133 - thanks for reporting.

After upgrading to 2.1.0, all of my recurring meetings were deleted from my Google Calendar during the initial sync. Previous version worked fine. I am using Outlook 2013 and Windows 8.1. I am syncing from Outlook to Google.

This would be by design. The events in v1 weren't real recurring meetings - so when you upgrade the old events will be removed and replaced with a proper recurring event.

This release will not sync recurring events. I'm syncing one way from Outlook to Google. The previous version was fine. I'm using Outlook 2007 on Windows 7

have not used the new version yet but it appears that the multiple entries seem to be related to ALL DAY repeating events. I have other events that are repeated but do not appear to produce multiple entries as long as I have a 1- 2 hour time frame. I am using outlook 2007 and win 7.

Good release - but still some bugs with exceptions of recurring events
by tronest on Dec 1, 2015 at 7:36 AM

Having the same problem with duplicates. Also, wrong durations. It doesn't seem to like events created in other timezones either. I'll produce more detailed reports. But this isn't ready for Beta.

Thanks for this latest release. Whilst it fixes many bugs, the big one (for me) is that I still get duplicates of recurring events in the Google to Outlook sync. Sorry to report this!
